this hero's name is Sharib . The photo is taken outside gate no 2 , Jama Masjid , Delhi. , and there was Sharib who was ever ready to get a snap taken ... watching all this was a small street kid , i noticed her and asked her to join Sharib but the sweet litlle kid nodded her head and walked away a litlle shy i assume .. now when i was clicking Sharib's snap , i saw her looking at both us .. infact posing for the camera .. u can spot her too .. behind Sharib with her hands behind her head .

This wall is one of the walls of the courtyard where Raziya Sultana's grave is . The area is Bulbula Khana , New Delhi . the windows are 200 years old ., they are Old Delhi windows .. some are shut .. just like the world which is shut to this part of Delhi .

This guy is Ghaus. His shop is at Gate no 3, Jama Masjid , New Delhi. My theme for all the photos was "Hazaar Khwaishein Aisi " and this guy , he is the 7th generation shop keeper of a 200 year old shop ! sells topi's and other accessories at the shop .. champ was more than ready for the pose .. in the end he gave me a pretty good one .. check out his for head and eyes , feel like they have been set in thier place over the years .His shop has seen a lot of changes , recently the bombings at Jama Masjid.I wonder if his persepective towards the masjid and people around would have changed ?

this is a lane in Balli Mehran , New Delhi . Its a locality which consists of 3 to 4 lanes .Mirza Ghalib , the poet used to stay in this locality ,i wonder if he would still be able to come up with his poems and couplets with this kind of rush around him !
